19 year old actor Jake Thomas (LIZZIE McGUIRE, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) will guest star on RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, Momday April 27th at 9:30PM (8:30PM CT) on CBS.

Jake will also be guest starring May 15th on THE GHOST WHISPERER.  Jake is still seen in episodes of "Cory In The House" on the Disney Channel and soon starring in the film, "The Assignment."

Sports Fan Podcasts is an large website when it goes about sports podcasting. With over 140 sports teams available to be podcasted the site is huge and a great place for sports fans to join in. However, the web is not only about podcasting anymore and the time has changed the way how we spend our time on the web. Sports Fan Podcasts is going to adjust to that by changing the way how it works.

Sports Fan Podcasts is currently podcast orientated. This means we put focus on the podcasts people have send. However, we wanted to give the submitter some more creditibility for their work, and we do that by bringing some social experience to our site.

The new Sports Fan Podcasts that is expected to be released this summer is going to focus on you, and not just you who sends podcasts. We give you the visitor the oppertunity to join in and talk about your favorite sports team the way you want. You can podcast, you can send a small message, or start your own blog about your favorite team or sport. And no longer you need to visit the site by an internet browser on your computer. We will bring Sports Fan Podcasts to your mobile phone!

So let’s show you a bit of our previews and the functionality shown.

Team page:

We want you to join, to make that happen we explain why people need to join in a big banner on top of our screen. Below that, we show a nice cleaned up navigation that can expend itself when you select team news for example. No longer we put interesting links in a hidden box on the left, and some on the top, and some at the bottom. We show all the links you need in just one place, in just one bar.

You, the submitter that sends podcasts, messages and blog posts get the focus you need. With your avater and name visitors will know you, not only SFP. With more space in a cleaned up way about your submission you got all the place you need to share the thing you like.

However, we also allow you to know who are the submitters to the current sports team, and who is following this team. You probably have a friend who is interested to know whats up with the New York Yankees and the White Sox. Once our new site is released you will be able to know the things you want to know about this team, the people who submits to that team, and the people who are interested in that team.

Besides following the team, we also allow you to follower specific submittors, you are in control over the information you are interested in. Your no longer stuck to just one team or one location, you can go anywhere and do what you like.

New profile pages

Like mentioned before, we make you important. So from the day we launch our new site, you get your own personal page on Sports Fan Podcasts with your bio, submission info, and interests. If people aren’t really interested in a team, but are interested in you, they simply can follow your profile page and know about everything you submit without visiting all our teams to find out. With a nice large picture on the left, biography info in the middle, and just little info about Sports Fan Podcasts, you have a place to share to people without making commercial about our service.

Wrap up
So lot’s of things are going to change to Sports Fan Podcasts. Last year we cleared the site from lot’s of uninteresting information and made what was happening on SFP the most important thing. In the summer of 2009 we update our site again and bring the focus to you the visitor and submittor. We no longer limit you to only podcast, we allow you to send small text messages, blog posts and maybe even more. Not in diffecult tabs to open, just one click scenarioes. With this and much more communication functions comming to Sports Fan Podcasts, we are sure to be alot more interesting by this summer.

Besides working on websites for actors, artists and managers, we sometimes make website’s for companies. And example of that is our latest website release for a Dutch restaurant in Nijmegen, Take a Wok.

Take a Wok
Take a Wok is a fast-food restaurant in Nijmegen is an restaurant with an open kitchen. Besides getting a quick meal, you also can delecious from a wok, what is being cooked just in front of you. When you are in Nijmegen, make sure to come by.

The website and it’s desing we created are focussing on showing how open Take a Wok is to it’s customers. With pictures showing how well the restaurant looks from the inside, and with media showing how your food is being warmed up is unique to many competitor websites. We didn’t want to let people lose track on what webpage they were, so we made the navigation very clear with big buttons on the top making all your navigation work happen. It’s like tabblet browing that people are used from their favorite browser. With the right amount of info shown the site feels attractive, and makes you interest to read what’s the restaurant is about.

Internet is your front door
Now more then ever, internet is your front door for your company and store. Because of that, a webpage showing why people should get to your store is very important. For Take a Wok Nijmegen, we made such front door.

From today, Jake Thomas will be selling his latest released movie DVD at his website. This DVD will be signed by Jake, and is available to everyone in the United States. If you don’t live in the US, you can buy the DVD too, but then your need a region free dvd player to play the disc. This is probably your dvd burner or player in your computer.

In August the second IE8 beta will be released to public, what will bring us a lot of new functions for the users. In Beta 1, Microsoft gave us web developers a lot of new exciting functionality to improve user experience.

On of the great functions in IE8, are the way how you can keep track of a specific part of an website, a so called Webslice. We as web developers can allow you to slice a part from our website, and use it to keep track on our updates. It’s like having an RSS Feed, but then more then just text.

Webstyle Center proud to announce that the new website for Jake Thomas has been launched! With an totally new design and setup, Jake’s website is up-to-date with the latest info, and the latest techniques to display that info in a nice way.

The new site focuses more on Jake's career, and how to communicate with him. Directors are able to just click on demo reel or there interesting subject and read what is most interesting for them.

For fans we have made a similar experience. With just one click they can communicate with other fans or send their own question to Jake Thomas himself! The member section is no longer the most go through page to access the forum, chat room and Question & Answer. This because we made the forum, Q&A public for all visitors. This means you don’t need to login to read the latest answers or forum posts. Only when you want to access the chat room, or send something, only then you need to login.

With pictures all over the website promoting Jake’s career, and making the communications wide open, we think the site will bring lot’s of more visitors and fans for Jake Thomas.

Besides all new features, the website is cleaned up, old info has been removed, the website will be more easy to handle, and work on all computers in all scenarios. The site comes to every W3C validation, what means all standards are being used without any errors, what means the site runs the same as it would run on Windows 95, as on Vista, Mac or Linux.

If your running Internet Explorer 8, don't forget to use the webslice functionality that is available for every team. Just click on the "keep up-to-date" link shown in the bottom-right, and the available webslices are shown.

On July 1, the southeastern book club will release a new book written by Simms Thomas. This new books, named "The Secret Layer" will be sold on the website after release, and we got asked to create the new website.

This web design we created for the Southeastern Book Club is interesting for woman visitors that are searching for interesting books. With some nice fonts and a easy setup to find the book of interest, visitors will enjoy there visit.

Soon, Webstyle Center will work on an English translated version of RollingDutchman Productions, a website full with video art. More about this later.

In the past few months, our focus was on creating website for actors, artists and managers, and didn't have much time to finish our own site with the right design. Today we released a new version of our site, with a new web design, making the site look more professional. It also adds focus on the more important parts of the website, and gives the visitor more the feeling the site is really about actor web design.

We also added some new information about how we work with the actors, artists and managers we currently help.

Sports Fan Podcasts is successfully updated to the new layout this Saturday! The new layout uses many new functions that are available in new browsers. For example, with Internet Explorer 8 (beta) or with the right plugin for Firefox, you can take a slice out of a webpage, and watch it in your favorite bar, to track updates with just one click.

April 9, 2008 (Studio City) Eighteen year old actor Jake Thomas (LIZZIE McGUIRE, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) is the lead guest star on ER, Thursday, April 17th at 10PM/9PM CDT on NBC. Jake plays a character who is suspected of beating his father. The episode is entitled "As the Day She was Born."
The following week Jake travels to Salt lake City for four weeks to film a leading role in the film, The Assignment, for director Tim Nelson.
Jake can also be seen on episodes of Cory In The House on the Disney Channel.

In  the past few years, the system of Sports Fan Podcasts improved itself to a system that handles over 140 team site's with just a few clicks.

Without having to download or install any application. In the very near future this podcast site will have a major layout update, so it uses all latest technologies of all web browsers.

We expect the new layout to be launched in mid-April.

Sports Fan Podcasts, with actor Bob Thomas as CEO, now allows Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) users to use their webslice technoligy! With webslices you can be notified when changes happen to a part of a webpage. For example, on Sports Fan Podcatss we allow you to be notified when new podcasts are available.

Unlike RSS Feeds, webslices will show you the website itself, but only the part that interests you. So you will see the exact same top 10 lists of latest uploaded podcasts like you see it on the website, and it will have the same functionality! And it also looks nice, it fit's easily with your daily web surfing.

In a press-mail from Jakes management, the following news got told to the world:

"Currently Jake is shooting a leading guest star role on ER in the show's first episode to be produced after the writer's strike. An air date for the episode has not been released."

Like with Jake's guest star in Without a Trace, we are sure this can be an amazing episode of ER. If we receive more information about Jake's appereance, we'll let you know.

Webstyle Center is going to experiment with the goodness of people, with allowing everyone to join Jakes next chat on March 15, 2008. Every fan that wants to chat with Jake, but doesn't want to leave his email address or doesn't want to sign up, is now able to access the chatroom trough the guest links.

With extra moderation, and the functionality to ban guests we will have a look if the chatroom keeps clean around March 15, and when it does, it may stay open forever.

But, this doesn't say that Jake Thomas members signed up for nothing. Members have access to the forum, Question and Answer, the chatroom as themselves, and the TV Guide.

Jake Thomas wants to be the next Zac Efron.
The Knoxville native, whose credits include a starring role in Steven Spielberg’s “A.I.” and Disney Channel’s “Cory in the House,” is vying for a lead role in “High School Musical 3.”
“Yesterday was a first for me,” he tells the Insider. “It was the first time I had to sing for an audition. It was an interesting challenge for me, but I think I was up for it.”
Thomas performed for casting agents looking to fill the lead role of “HSM3,” which will be the swan song for the current “HSM” cast, but not the end of the “HSM” franchise. More “HSM” movies are on the drawing boards, but the ones beyond this third one will be done without Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and the rest of the current stars.
In “HSM3,” the current cast is graduating high school. However, a new cast of characters will be introduced to carry on the song-and-dance routines for future movies.

“This is their last hurrah,” Thomas says.
Thomas is auditioning for the lead male role, a part that would, essentially, fill the void when Efron’s character is gone from movies beyond “HSM3.”
“The character I am auditioning for would take over Zac Efron’s (function). He would be the new star basketball player at the school,” he says.
Thomas fancies himself a singer but not much of a dancer.
He’s also not much of a fan of “HSM” or any other musical for that matter. “I’m not one who gives into hype,” he says with a laugh when asked if he was a fan of the previous “HSM” movies.
However, “I did watch ‘Sweeney Todd,’ and I liked it a lot,” he says.
Thomas’ own high-school days are over. He recently earned his high school diploma and is living in Los Angeles, complete with his own place to live.
His next project is the TV western movie “Aces N’ Eights,” airing later this month on the ION network (the channel formerly known as Pax). He co-stars in it with Ernest Borgnine.
Thomas, who was a student at Farragut High School last school year, still considers Knoxville home. He now is going to college part time.

Not so long ago Microsoft, and it's Windows Live Team released API's for webmasters to enable there visitors to use their Windows Live ID on your site. Webmasters are now able to use the security and login system from Windows Live for their own site, and are also able to add Messenger to their website.

Right now we started a service because of these new functionality what shows the online status of the webmaster directly on the site. When I'm online, people can just click the messenger button, and start a chat with me, without needing to share their email address or any other personal information:

However, when I've change my status to Away, Be Right Back or Out to Lunch, the button changes automatically to the button saying I'm away:

When people click on the button, they now aren't opening the chatroom, but opening the contact page so they can contact me. This also happens when I'm offline:

During the next few weeks we are going to test if this function is useful to our visitors and if they like the messenger that contacts us directly.
