In  the past few years, the system of Sports Fan Podcasts improved itself to a system that handles over 140 team site's with just a few clicks.

Without having to download or install any application. In the very near future this podcast site will have a major layout update, so it uses all latest technologies of all web browsers.

We expect the new layout to be launched in mid-April.

Sports Fan Podcasts, with actor Bob Thomas as CEO, now allows Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) users to use their webslice technoligy! With webslices you can be notified when changes happen to a part of a webpage. For example, on Sports Fan Podcatss we allow you to be notified when new podcasts are available.

Unlike RSS Feeds, webslices will show you the website itself, but only the part that interests you. So you will see the exact same top 10 lists of latest uploaded podcasts like you see it on the website, and it will have the same functionality! And it also looks nice, it fit's easily with your daily web surfing.

In a press-mail from Jakes management, the following news got told to the world:

"Currently Jake is shooting a leading guest star role on ER in the show's first episode to be produced after the writer's strike. An air date for the episode has not been released."

Like with Jake's guest star in Without a Trace, we are sure this can be an amazing episode of ER. If we receive more information about Jake's appereance, we'll let you know.

Accourding to Wikipedia, this first episode might be shown on April 10 2008.

Webstyle Center is going to experiment with the goodness of people, with allowing everyone to join Jakes next chat on March 15, 2008. Every fan that wants to chat with Jake, but doesn't want to leave his email address or doesn't want to sign up, is now able to access the chatroom trough the guest links.

With extra moderation, and the functionality to ban guests we will have a look if the chatroom keeps clean around March 15, and when it does, it may stay open forever.

But, this doesn't say that Jake Thomas members signed up for nothing. Members have access to the forum, Question and Answer, the chatroom as themselves, and the TV Guide.

Jake Thomas wants to be the next Zac Efron.
The Knoxville native, whose credits include a starring role in Steven Spielberg’s “A.I.” and Disney Channel’s “Cory in the House,” is vying for a lead role in “High School Musical 3.”
“Yesterday was a first for me,” he tells the Insider. “It was the first time I had to sing for an audition. It was an interesting challenge for me, but I think I was up for it.”
Thomas performed for casting agents looking to fill the lead role of “HSM3,” which will be the swan song for the current “HSM” cast, but not the end of the “HSM” franchise. More “HSM” movies are on the drawing boards, but the ones beyond this third one will be done without Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and the rest of the current stars.
In “HSM3,” the current cast is graduating high school. However, a new cast of characters will be introduced to carry on the song-and-dance routines for future movies.

“This is their last hurrah,” Thomas says.
Thomas is auditioning for the lead male role, a part that would, essentially, fill the void when Efron’s character is gone from movies beyond “HSM3.”
“The character I am auditioning for would take over Zac Efron’s (function). He would be the new star basketball player at the school,” he says.
Thomas fancies himself a singer but not much of a dancer.
He’s also not much of a fan of “HSM” or any other musical for that matter. “I’m not one who gives into hype,” he says with a laugh when asked if he was a fan of the previous “HSM” movies.
However, “I did watch ‘Sweeney Todd,’ and I liked it a lot,” he says.
Thomas’ own high-school days are over. He recently earned his high school diploma and is living in Los Angeles, complete with his own place to live.
His next project is the TV western movie “Aces N’ Eights,” airing later this month on the ION network (the channel formerly known as Pax). He co-stars in it with Ernest Borgnine.
Thomas, who was a student at Farragut High School last school year, still considers Knoxville home. He now is going to college part time.

Not so long ago Microsoft, and it's Windows Live Team released API's for webmasters to enable there visitors to use their Windows Live ID on your site. Webmasters are now able to use the security and login system from Windows Live for their own site, and are also able to add Messenger to their website.

Right now we started a service because of these new functionality what shows the online status of the webmaster directly on the site. When I'm online, people can just click the messenger button, and start a chat with me, without needing to share their email address or any other personal information:

However, when I've change my status to Away, Be Right Back or Out to Lunch, the button changes automatically to the button saying I'm away:

When people click on the button, they now aren't opening the chatroom, but opening the contact page so they can contact me. This also happens when I'm offline:

During the next few weeks we are going to test if this function is useful to our visitors and if they like the messenger that contacts us directly.

Teen actor Jake Thomas is most known from the tv show Lizzie Mcguire, but he also appiered in many tv commercials, tv shows and movies, including the movie Artificial Intellinece, Christmas Vacation 2 and The Cell. He also made a impressive appereance in the tv show Without a Trace.

Jakes new movie, Aces and Eights will be first-aired at March 15 on RHI Entertainment. Because of that, Jake Thomas is going to do a live chat with his fans.
